Darkness is far more complex and tenacious than it appears on the surface - it's authority and dominion, as we shall learn, refuses to allow its captives to go free, even after our initial encounter with Christ. The contrast and application of light and darkness are not designed to be deep and profound, but embracing the differences will powerfully move us onto a different and more perfectly established Kingdom foundation.
