Jaclyn (8) with new son, Mark

Vicka with "Delight Father" volleyball team
Father fed us in our recent Learning Center as Bob taught Being Human as God Intended and Eric opened Eating Jesus; we communed with Father and one another around the bread and wine of His Son. How greatly we enjoy being with you at these family reunions! Our next Learning Center will be in Sayre, Oklahoma April 17-18, 2010 and Eric’s wife Suzanne and their two natural daughters will also be coming. We are on a linear, emigrant journey, following Jesus into His unfolding kingdom; we hope you will join us to take the next steps together.
In 2010 Lifechangers will begin publishing four Plumblines each year, rather than six. Since the themes God is giving us are so substantial both in content and pages, we want to give you time to read, ingest, assimilate, practice, and impart to others what the Lord is teaching us. We are all in school! These kingdom treasures are our inheritance and “An inheritance gained hurriedly at the beginning will not be blessed in the end” (Pro 20:21).
Eric and Suzanne received a new baby boy named Mark into Father’s Family (pictured with Jaclyn, age 8). Several months ago the Lord told Eric He would bring a new baby; Mark was brought to us at three months old severely neglected and malnourished with a distended belly and parasites. He was born premature on June 3rd and the mother died in child-birth. Mercifully, he is HIV negative. The father is an alcoholic who released custody to us. We have been feeding Mark Nestle’s Nan formula at three-hour intervals and are amazed at his recovery—now nearly five months old weighing eight pounds. Pray with us for Mark’s lung/breathing issues. Father’s destiny and joy is all over this son and the whole family, especially Suzanne and Jaclyn, are smitten with love!
Over the past three months our Ukrainian daughter Vicka has recruited a group of teenage boys from the slum into a volleyball team as a means of discipleship (pictured). Each Saturday they meet on a vacant field from 9am to 1pm; they dig holes for the net-poles, practice volleying, serving and spiking, and then play a game. Afterward, she serves them lunch and they talk about the Father and Son and pray. To close, they all huddle in a circle placing their hands together and shout “Delight Father,” which is the name of their team! Eric went with Vicka last Saturday to participate in what she is doing. The boys were amazed that Vicka’s dad came wanting to spend time playing with them. A priority of Father’s redemptive strategy is to resurrect young men as generous sons, future fathers with an Agape capacity.
